Based in Oslo since 2011, Thibaut interweaves architectural design skills, engineering lateral thinking and a sharp eye for human needs in a wide range of design projects — from self-build housing and visual arts to bridge design and permaculture.
Thibaut originally studied construction engineering in France, before coming to Nottingham in 1999 to explore the bioclimatic design of lightweight textile architecture in his PhD research. He has been a regular visiting lecturer and tutor in several architecture schools in the UK.
At 2hD, Thibaut is managing our Norwegian office in Oslo. He is also chief of all things technical — from computer modelling wizardry to sheep’s wool insulation — and is our visualisation maestro.
Oh, and his name is pronounced Teebo…
