“Make It Happen” Jane’s Walk
6th May 2026, 4pm meet outside Cleaver & Wake
A citizen-led guided walk from Boots Island to the Fruit Market
Let’s get walking!
The inaugural Jane’s Walk Nottingham will be led by RIBA East Midlands and is timed to follow their Make It Happen conference The walk will pick up on the theme of creating viable, thriving and vibrant communities.
Following a route from the conference venue at Cleaver & Wake (see map), via a number of fascinating heritage sites, urban disaster zones, quirky landscape features and hidden urban spaces, the walk will end up at the inspiring Fruit Market housing scheme in Nottingham’s Eastside.
The walk is free, open to all and will follow a fully accessible route on public streets. The walk will take around 90 minutes including stops to chat about the things we see and to hear from local contributors.
Please register your place in advance - for free - on the Eventbrite page.
If you have any queries or needs, please feel free to contact Jane’s Walk Nottingham local organiser Tom Hughes via email.
